Professionally, Joy is a Trade Finance Banker working within HSBC Commercial banking focussed on the Tech Sector. She has worked across London, Mexico, Dubai and Ireland, now working in Cloud Solutions financing.
She is the co-chair of Christians in HSBC and also the founder and president of a Nigerian Diaspora group called Edonxtgen. She became qualified as an accredited sales performance coach, driving behavioural change within managers and achieving significant rapid business transformation.
Her passion for awakening identity and seeing people step into their greatness has led her to author her new book ‘Woke at Work‘ – Strategies to navigate the workplace and progress with pace’. The book is jam-packed with wisdom from almost 15 years working across global organisations. It’s focused on empowering people of all backgrounds to drive their career progression. As a side note, she has recently completed study with Imperial University on the five technologies that are transforming business for the future, rapidly advancing her knowledge of the Tech sector.
